Is Deus ex Machina a real God?

As an avid reader, I know that great many people were saved by Deus ex Machina, but can it be worshipped? Should one pray to it in desperate situations?

What does your religion or lack thereof say about this issue? Is Deus ex Machina a real God?
Literary devices are only slightly more real than deities, so I doubt worshipping one would be worth it.
Well, if you're Christian the answer is no. Christians believe in one God and the trinity. If you are pagan or are in a religious faith that allows you to believe in more than one god, I guess you could believe in deus ex machina as a god.Is Deus ex Machina a real God?
Hahaha, I love this.

Why are people SO oblivious to satire??
It literally means "The God from the Machine" It is a term from Greek theater where a character is saved from an impossible situation by a god who was swung out over the stage.

I am a NeoHellenic and my religion says that the Greek tragedies were cool, but that's about it.Is Deus ex Machina a real God?
? (Deus)

The assurance of Divine protection from the fires of Hell must not be taken as some sort of license to sin. It is only a valid promise to Christians who heed the infallible Word of God in the Sacred Scripture:-

1. -Believe in the Son of God, lest you perish (John 3:16, John 3:18, John 5:24; John 6:40; John 6:47; John 6:55; John 10:28; Mark 16:15, John 10:9; Acts 2:21; Acts 4:12; Acts 15:11; Acts 16:31; Romans 5:9-10, Romans 10:9; Romans 10:13; 1 Timothy 1:16, 1 John 5:13)

2. -Be baptised, lest you perish (Mark 16:15)

3. -Eat the flesh and drink the blood of the Son of God, lest you perish (John 6:55)

4. -Avoid occasions of sin, lest you perish (Matthew 5:29; Matthew 18:8; Mark 9:44)

5. -Keep the commandments, lest you perish (Matthew 19:17; Mark 10:17; Luke 18:20; )

6. -Confess your sins, (and pray for one another), lest you perish (James 5:16)

7. -Do penance for your past sins (fasting, abstinance, mortification etc) lest you perish (Matthew 3:8-10, Luke 13:3-5, Apocalypse 2:5, Apocalypse 3:3, 2 Peter 3:9).

8. -Do good works to your neighbour (feed the hungry, water the thirsty, take in a stranger, cover the naked, visit the sick, visit the imprisoned) lest you perish (Matthew 25:31, Luke 10:25, Galatians 6:6)

9. -Lose your life in the Lord鈥檚 service, lest you perish (Matthew 7:21, Matthew 10:38, Matthew 16:24, Matthew 19:24-29, Mark 10:28, John 12:24-25)

10. -Take up your daily cross of sufferings, lest you perish (Matthew 10:38, Matthew 16:24, Mark 8:34; Luke 9:23; Luke 14:27; 1 Corinthians 1:18)

11. -Confess the name of Jesus Christ before men, lest you perish (Matthew 10:32-33; Mark 8:38)

12. -Take not up the sword, lest you perish (Matthew 26:52)

13. -Persevere to the end, lest you perish (Matthew 10:21, Matthew 24:22; Mark 13:13)
Lord Jesus Christ is the one and only God!
The Greek literacists were heathens and sinners! Rebuke!
